On Tuesday evening, San Luis Obispo police are searching for a driver they say was involved in a hit-and- run collision of a pedestrian at the intersection of High Street and South Higuera. According to KSBY, the adult male was hit by a car around 5:00 p.m.

The victim stated to police that following the collision, the driver stopped his car and offered to pay him money to not to talk to police. When the victim refused, the driver declined to wait for the officers to arrive and drove away. The victim in the collision suffered back and elbow injuries.

The suspect was described as a male driving a white or light blue Toyota Celica in his late 20’s with a female passenger. No further information has been released and the cause of this collision could still be under investigation with local law enforcement agencies.
