Robert May grew up in a blue-collar family on California’s Central Coast and became the first in his family to earn a college degree, graduating from California Polytechnic State University. He later earned his law degree from California Western School of Law with a passion for representing the injured. Robert has successfully handled thousands of personal injury cases and secured more than $25,000,000 in verdicts and settlements. Founder of The May Firm, he remains committed to fully compensating every client and treating each one like family.

Garrett May, a Santa Barbara County native, studied economics at the University of Utah before earning his law degree on academic scholarship from California Western School of Law in just two years. Licensed throughout California, Garrett heads the firm’s litigation department and is an aggressive, experienced litigator with proven trial and arbitration success. He has handled hundreds of personal injury and wrongful death cases, recovering tens of millions of dollars for his clients, while providing passionate, personalized service every step of the way.

Ryan Buchanan grew up in Santa Barbara County and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. During law school, he interned at the Santa Barbara Superior Court, where he developed his passion for personal injury law. Licensed throughout California, Ryan is a key member of the firm’s personal injury litigation team, proudly serving the Central Coast community he calls home. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, golfing, and being at the lake.

Ibrahim Tabel is a dedicated Associate specializing in Personal Injury Law, committed to securing justice and fair compensation for those he represents. He earned his law degree from the University of La Verne College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class and receiving the prestigious CALI Award for academic excellence. Born and raised in Riverside County, Ibrahim earned dual bachelor’s degrees in history and religious studies from the University of California, Riverside.

Jessica is an experienced attorney who combines her legal knowledge with a compassionate approach to fiercely advocate for her clients. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, double majoring in Political Science and Film and Media Studies, before obtaining her law degree from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in Orange County, where she grew up and currently resides. Licensed throughout California, Jessica has secured over $1,000,000 in settlements in just her first year with The May Firm Injury Lawyers and remains dedicated to fighting for those injured through no fault of their own in personal injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions and premises liability.
