Pao Her identified as driver of vehicle that crashed into a tree

According to a recent article from KCRTV, there was a recent single vehicle accident in which one passenger was killed last Saturday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Red Bluff.

As reported in the article, Pao Her was driving in the northbound lanes of the I-5 on Saturday morning.  The driver in his 2015 Toyota Camry was going at about 70 mph in the fast lane before drifting off the roadway and sideswiping a small tree.

Shortly after, the 2015 Toyota Camry struck a larger tree head-on and caught on fire, reported the article.

Her was able to exit the vehicle himself, but was unsuccessful in rescuing his passenger, according to the article.

When authorities arrived at the scene, the unidentified woman was declared dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported that the passenger was the driver’s wife, although it was unclear at this point.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.

Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
