Ambulance treats woman after two car collision in Carson

A truck and sedan were involved in a collision on Gardena Freeway near Avalon Boulevard in Carson at approximately 10:49 AM on Wednesday, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

According to the report, the woman was in a white Dodge Neon when it was involved in collision with a silver Ford F15. A flatbed truck was required to tow the Dodge which received major front end damage. Sources say two lanes of traffic were blocked as a result of the crash.

The injured woman received medical attention from an ambulance dispatched to the scene of the accident, according to sources. The identity of the woman involved in the accident is currently unknown. It is also unknown whether or not the two vehicles involved in the accident had other passengers at the time of the crash.

The investigation into this accident is still ongoing. Further details will be released as it becomes available to the public.
