Fresno County Coroner’s office has identified only two of the victims in fatal truck accident

According to a news update, two of five people killed on Tuesday in a truck accident south of Mendota were identified as Vinod Dhammy, 66 and Kuldip Kumar, 64, of Union City.

The accident occurred when the driver of a 2009 Mercedes failed to stop at a stop sign at Manning and SR-33 in Mendota.  The driver of the Mercedes drove directly into the left side of a 2013 Peterbuilt big rig truck, causing the larger vehicle to overturn.

As a result, the driver of the big rig, identified by California Highway Patrol as Wayne Fletcher, 58, sustained major injuries and paramedics had to transport the victim to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, where he has reportedly been listed in critical condition.

Furthermore, CHP officers on the scene of the accident were able to remove two passengers from the Mercedes before it caught fire and erupted.  In total, all five occupants of the sedan were killed, said CHP.  The authorities were able to identify two of the victims in the crash– Vinod Dhammy, 66, and Kuldip Kumar, 64, both of Union City.

Those who knew the man also have come out and stated that another man was killed.  The report indicates that another man, Silicon Valley radio astrologer Deepak Kumar, also known as Master Deepak ji, was also killed in the morning car crash.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.

Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
