At least one person injured in multi-vehicle traffic accident on the 5 Freeway near Chapman Ave in Orange

According to a California Highway Police report, on Wednesday, February 21st 2018, at least one person suffered from injuries sustained by a vehicle pile up on the Santa Ana Freeway near Chapman Avenue in the city of Orange.

Moreover, a total of seven or eight cars were involved in the accident on the 5 Freeway that left at least one person injured.  As cited by CHP, the injured party was transported to a local hospital to treat the injuries sustained by the collision, however authorities do not have any word on the condition of the injured victim at the time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident, and further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has been concluded.
