Car accident injured at least 1 person on the transition road from Interstate 405 to the 110 Freeway in Gardena

A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Saturday, April 14th 2018, a traffic accident that involved several vehicles on the transition road from Interstate 405 to the 110 Freeway in the city of Gardena left at least one person injured.

Moreover, at about 2:47 p.m. the three vehicles involved in the accident were merging from I-405 to I-110 when the collision occurred, according to officials.  Authorities reported that either a silver Chevy Tahoe or GMC Suburban, a black Nissan and a black Volkswagen were the vehicles involved in the accident.

Additionally, at least one person was injured, however the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim are unknown.  Officials have not released the age or name of the injured victim yet.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
