At least 1 person injured in traffic accident on the 101 Freeway south of Citrus Fair Dr in Cloverdale

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, April 24th 2018, at about 5:50 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a truck accident that took place on the 101 Highway, just south of Citrus Fair Drive in the city of Cloverdale.

Moreover, authorities mentioned that a big rig and a silver Nissan sedan were traveling southbound on US-101 when the collision occurred.  The accident left the the Nissan disabled and was blocking the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the highway, as stated by officials.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
