At least 1 person injured in traffic accident on Highway 91 west of Norwalk Blvd in Cerritos
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Saturday, March 31st 2018, at about 11:19 a.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that involved several vehicles on State Route 91, just west of Norwalk Boulevard in the city of Cerritos.
Furthermore, authorities stated that a big rig, a Ford F-150, a Honda Odyssey, and a red Ford Fusion were the vehicles involved in the collision. The truck accident caused major rear-end damage to the Fusion, and also caused the Odyssey to go down an embankment, as mentioned by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.
Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision. Further details will be made available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
