At least 1 person injured on the 110 Freeway south of W Manchester Ave in Los Angeles

As mentioned in a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 19th 2018, at about 11:40 a.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 110, just south of West Manchester Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.

Furthermore, authorities did not give a make or model of the vehicles involved but did state that a van and a sedan were traveling northbound on I-110 when the collision occurred.  The No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the freeway were blocked due to the crash, according to CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
