Motorcyclist injured in traffic accident on State Route 57 near Pathfinder Rd in Diamond Bar

As mentioned by California Highway Patrol in a police report, on Wednesday, March 7th 2018, at 3:11 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Highway 57, just north of Pathfinder Road in the city of Diamond Bar.

Moreover, authorities reported that a black Ford pick-up truck crossed over double yellow line and hit a motorcyclist on SR-57.  The accident knocked the rider down and was laying in the No. 1 lane when officials arrived, according to CHP.

Additionally, the injured motorcyclist was immediately transported to a near by hospital by paramedic, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party.  Officials have now yet released any information of the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this incident is under going review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause of the collision, and further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
