Car accident hospitalized at least 1 person on Highway 24 east of State Route 13 in Oakland
A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Wednesday, April 18th 2018, a traffic accident that involved several vehicles took place on State Route 24, just east of Highway 13 in the city of Oakland injured at least one person.
Moreover, at about 9:05 p.m. the vehicles involved in the accident were merging from SR-13 to SR-24 when the collision occurred, according to officials. Authorities reported that one of the vehicles smelled like smoke was coming out of the vehicle.
Additionally, at least one person was injured, however the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim are unknown. Officials have not released the age or name of the injured victim yet.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
