At least 1 person hospitalized after car accident on the 5 Freeway south of San Fernando Mission Blvd in Los Angeles

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Tuesday, March 27th 2018, at about 12:49 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 5, just south of the San Fernando Mission Boulevard off-ramp in Los Angeles.

Furthermore, authorities did give a full description of the vehicles, but did mentioned that at least 3 vehicles were involved, with one of them being a small Toyota and another a black SUV.  The black SUV lost control and hit several other vehicles before coming to a stop, as stated by officials.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further details will be made available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
