Car accident hospitalized at least 1 person on the 10 Freeway east of Haven Ave in Ontario

As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol on Thursday, March 29th 2018, at about 1:38 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 10, just east of Haven Avenue in the city of Ontario.

Moreover, officials stated that a red Toyota Rav4 lost control while driving westbound on I-10 and hit the center divider before getting hit by on coming traffic.  The vehicle that hit the Toyota was a white Scion, according to the CHP report.

Additionally, it is unclear how many people were injured in the accident, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause of the collision.  Further details will be made available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
