Minor car crash on 101 Freeway in Healdsburg blocks slow lane
According to a California Highway Patrol report, on Thursday afternoon, April 26th, 2018, at approximately 3:01 pm, a car collision involving two vehicles occurred on the northbound US-101 Freeway just south of the Central Healdsburg off-ramp in the city of Healdsburg.
In addition, the police report noted that the two vehicles involved were described as a truck and a dark-colored sedan. Both vehicles were able to make it to the right-hand side of the road to avoid stopping traffic.
Unfortunately, the slow lane of traffic was blocked by debris as a result of the accident until authorities arrived to clear the scene and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, stated authorities.
In addition, it is unclear if there were any injuries sustained due to the accident.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
