Head-on collision resulted in fatal accident
According to a news report from 23abcnews, on Sunday, April 15th 2018, at about 1:00 a.m., three people died ensuing a head-on traffic collision involving two vehicles on the northbound of Highway 43 near Avenue 94 in the city of Corcoran.
In addition, the report stated that a 22-year-old female driver was traveling northbound on Highway 43 when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Chevrolet carrying a 65-year-old man and his 55-year-old female passenger. Moreover, the driver of the Chevy flew out of his car as a result of not wearing a seatbelt, as stated by officials.
Highway 43 was shut down for several hours as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
Furthermore, all three parties were pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
