Two injured in a multi-vehicle-collision on Highway 1

According to onscene.tv, two victims of a car collision on Highway 1 in Malibu were seriously injured Wednesday evening.

As mentioned in the article, Authorities responded to a report of a car crash involving three cars on Highway 1 near Topanga Canyon in Malibu at approximately 9:04 p.m.

Reportedly, a vehicle was traveling northbound when it drifted into the on-coming traffic on Highway 1.

As a result, the northbound car then swiped one vehicle that was going southbound and then collided head on with another southbound vehicle.

The two victims involved in the head-on-collision was trapped in the car until help arrived and was airlifted to nearby hospitals.

The name of the victims were not mentioned in the article, pending the notification of next-of-kin.

It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash but have not ruled out the possibility.

This multi-vehicle-crash is currently under investigation and further details will be updated as they are available.
