Car collision on 135th street near El Segundo Boulevard in Gardena kills two people
According to KTLA 5, two people were killed Wednesday April 4th, 2018, approximately at 9 pm, after a car crash occurred on 135th street and El Segundo Boulevard.
Police reported the car was speeding northbound on Crenshaw Boulevard when the driver lost control.
Additionally, the car hit a pole then skidded alongside the Ramda Metal Specialties building, then burst into flames, reported the authorities.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
