Two injured in a car crash at University Parkway and North Varsity Avenue in San Bernardino

According to onscene.tv, a car collision occurred on Friday morning at University Parkway and North Varsity Avenue, injuring one victim heavily and the other moderately.

Reportedly, on Friday at about 12:50 a.m., the San Bernardino County Fire responded to a traffic collision involving a motorcycle in the 4400 block of University Parkway in San Bernardino.

When the authorities arrived on scene, they saw a black Dodge Charger with heavy collision damage to the front end of the vehicle and a rider laying in the roadway, according to the article.

As mentioned in the news report, the rider of the motorcycle was injured heavily and was transported to a nearby trauma center through a ground transportation and the occupant of the Charger suffered minor injuries.

The name of the victims were not mentioned in the article at the time.  

It is unclear if alcohol, drugs or speeding were involved in the factor of the collision but the authorities have not ruled them out.

This collision remains under investigation by the San Bernardino Police Department and further details will be updated as they are available.
