Traffic collision on Highway 51 near Arden Way in Sacramento left 2 children hospitalized
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, March 28th 2018, at about 11:46 a.m. two children were hospitalized as a result of a car accident that took place on State Route 51, at the Arden Way off-ramp in the city of Sacramento.
Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a Chevy Impala and a white Honda Odyssey were traveling northbound on SR-51 when the collision occurred. There were two small children riding along in one of the vehicles at the time of the accident, as stated by CHP.
In addition, the two children were transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the children is unknown at this time. Authorities did not release the names or ages of the victims.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
