Two-car collision crashed into a building in Los Angeles

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 12th 2018, at about 10:38 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving two vehicles on the southbound Interstate 215 near Mt. Vernon Ave in Colton.

Police report stated that a dark sedan was driving recklessly on the 215 Freeway and caused the traffic collision, creating a traffic hazard in the carpool and No. 1 lanes. 

Authorities advised that the carpool lane as well as the first lane of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP. Additionally, California Highway Patrol had to stop all lanes for a brief period of time as trucks worked to move the vehicles off the freeway.

Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
