Trucking-involved accident in Lancaster
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 12th 2018, at about 4:14p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving a big rig and a sedan on 60th St W and W Ave D-4 in the city of Lancaster.
In addition, the report stated that a semi and a white Dodge Dart were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the truck has front end damage which caused possible coolant spill, whereas the Dodge has major left side damage, according to officials.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
