Car accident near Pala Del Norte on Highway 76 in Pala resulted in major injuries
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on January 31st at 4:16 p.m. a traffic accident occurred on SR-76 near Pala Del Norte in the city of Pala that left at least one person severely injured.
As stated in a CHP report, at about 4:18 p.m. when authorities arrived on scene a vehicle was on fire still on the 76 Freeway. The injured party was reported to be suffering from major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. According to CHP officials, Highway 76 will remain closed on both sides just half mile east of Pala Del Norte while authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident.
