At least one person injured in car accident on the intersection of Pacheco Rd and S Union Ave in Bakersfield

According to a reports written by officials, on Friday, February 16th 2018, at 10:06 p.m. a traffic accident left at least one person injured on the intersection of South Union Avenue and Pacheco Road in the city of Bakersfield.

Furthermore, officials report that a black Ford Mustang and a white Nissan Sentra were involved in an accident in Bakersfield that resulted in injuries.  Authorities state that the driver of the white Nissan Sentra tried to make a getaway but got stuck in a construction zone and was being detained there until authorities arrived.

In addition, at least one person sustained major injuries and was sent to a local hospital, however officials have no word on the condition of the injured victim.

This incident is currently under review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident, and further details will be available once authorities concluded their investigation.
