At least one person injured in car accident on Highway 24 near St Stephens Dr in Orinda

As mentioned in by California Highway Patrol in a police report, on Thursday, March 1st 2018, at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident involving several vehicles on State Route 24, just west of Saint Stephens Drive in the city of Orinda.

Moreover, officials report that six vehicles were involved in the collision that resulted in injuries on Highway 24.  Most of the vehicles involved moved over to the center divider, except for a GMC flatbed that ended up facing the wrong way.

Additionally, at least one person was transported to a local hospital by paramedics, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
