At least 1 person hospitalized after car accident on the 10 Freeway west of Crenshaw Blvd in Los Angeles
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Saturday, March 17th 2018, at 6:30 a.m. at least one person injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Interstate 10, just west of Crenshaw Boulevard in the city of Los Angeles.
Furthermore, authorities reported that a pick-up truck and a 4-door sedan were traveling eastbound on I-10 before the collision occurred. The accident caused the vehicles to block the No. 1 lane of the interstate, as stated by CHP.
In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision. Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
