Car crash hospitalized at least 1 person on Highway 101 at the College Ave off-ramp in Santa Rosa

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday, April 16th 2018, at about 3:53 p.m. at least one person was injured a result of a traffic collision that took place on the 101 Freeway, at the College Avenue off-ramp in the city of Santa Rosa.

Moreover, authorities mentioned that a white Chevy Tahoe and a gold Toyota were traveling northbound on CA-101 when the accident occurred.  The collision caused one of the vehicles to block the N0. 7 lane of the highway, as stated by CHP.

Additionally, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
