At least 1 person hospitalized ensuing car crash on the 10 Freeway east of S La Brea Ave in Los Angeles

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Saturday, April 14th 2018, at about 5:52 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 10, just east of South La Brea Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.

Furthermore, authorities did not give a description of the vehicles involved but did mention that two vehicle crashed into each other while traveling westbound on I-10.  The accident caused the vehicles to block the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the interstate, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
