At least one person injured in car collision on Highway 1 near Highland Dr in San Luis Obispo

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday February 12th 2018, a traffic collision on Highway 1 near Highland Drive in the city of San Luis Obispo left at least one person injured.

In addition, officials reported that a white Ford Ranger and a white sedan were going northbound on SR-1 before the collision occurred.  As a result of the accident both vehicles ended up with damage, the Ranger received damage to it’s left side, and the white sedan did receive major front end damage, said CHP.

Moreover, at least one person was sent to a local hospital to treat the injuries sustained by the wreck, however, authorities do not have any word on the condition of the injured victim at the time.

This traffic accident is currently undergoing review by authorities to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident further details will be released at a later time once the investigation has come to an end.
