Vehicle collision injured on the 5 Freeway north of N Buena Vista St in Burbank

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 19th 2018, at about 11:59 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 5, just north of North Buena Vista Street in the city of Burbank.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a Jeep Wrangler and a motorcyclist were traveling southbound on I-5 when the accident occurred.  Several lanes of the freeway were blocked off due to the collision, as stated by officials.

In addition, the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the injured rider are unknown at this time.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured party.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
