Child hospitalized after being struck by vehicle on the corner of 47th Ave and 44th St in Sacramento
As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, March 20th 2018, at about 2:38 p.m. a child was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on the intersection of 47th Avenue and 44th Street in the city of Sacramento.
Moreover, authorities did not give a full description, but did mention that a black pick-up truck struck the child. The driver of the pick-up was still on scene and cooperating with officials, according to CHP.
Additionally, the child was immediately taken to a local hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the injured child are unknown at this time. Authorities have not yet released the name or age of the child at this time.
