Car accident on the 15 Freeway near Via Rancho Pkwy in Escondido injured at least one person
A California Highway Patrol police report states, that on January 31st at about 2:29 p.m. a car crash on Interstate 15 near Via Rancho Pkwy left at least one person injured.
According to CHP, a vehicle was over turned at the scene of the accident. Officials report that the vehicle had rolled three times before coming to a stop. The other vehicle involved in the accident was described as a grey sedan, as cited in the report.
The report also states that when authorities arrived on scene they seen people outside of their vehicles running all over the freeway. An ambulance was called to the accident to attend to the injured party. The condition of the injured victim is unknown at the this time. Further details will be released at a later time when authorities have concluded their investigation.
