Traffic accident among 3 vehicles took place on I-605 near Saragosa St in Whittier

According to a report by the California Highway patrol, on January 29 at 8:43 a.m. a three vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 605 near Saragosa St in the city of Whittier.

Furthermore, officials report that the vehicles involved in the accident caused blockage to the left three lanes of the 605 Freeway.  The vehicles involved in the accident were described as a  brown Toyota Tundra, a black Honda Prelude, and a Toyota Hydrid.

The party in the black Honda Prelude was trapped and required fire crews to extract the party from their vehicle.  It is unclear if any injures were sustained as a result of the traffic accident.

Additional information will be released at a later time once the investigation has ended.
