Traffic lanes closed after solo vehicle crash in Davis

A suspected DUI crash occurred on Interstate 80 near Chiles Road in Davis at approximately 4:00AM on Tuesday, according to CBS Sacramento.

The suspected DUI driver was ejected from his vehicle and crawled back into it, according to sources.

Witnesses report that authorities used “jaws of life” to get the driver out of his vehicle, according to the article.

Authorities say that the driver of the vehicle received medical attention at the scene of the crash. Also, the injured driver was later transported to a hospital. Officials believe the driver will be okay.

The identity of the driver is currently not released.
