San Francisco woman hospitalized after a major motorcycle crash

According to an article from the Napa Valley Register, there was a woman who was severely injured after being involved in a motorcycle accident on Highway 29 north of Robert Louis Stevenson State Park on Saturday morning.

The accident occurred on Saturday morning when the 53-year-old motorcyclist, identified by authorities as Sara Mape, was headed northbound on Highway 29.

She crashed with another vehicle headed southbound on the highway, the source said.  As a result, Mape was ejected from her motorcycle.

Authorities responded to the crash and located Mape injured.  Reportedly, she suffered major injuries and paramedics assisted in flying her to Santa Rosa Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

The article stated that there were no other injuries reported in the accident.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
