“Golden Boy” professional boxer Cesar Diaz killed, and female passenger severely injured in car accident

Cesar Diaz was killed and his girlfriend severely injured at 50th Street East in a car crash that took place on Friday night, November 24th in Palmdale, CA, according to a recent article from The Desert Sun News.

The professional boxer, according to the article, was traveling in his hometown of Palmdale, California, on Friday at around 8:00 p.m. when Diaz lost control of his red 2016 Honda Accord, and crashed into a tree.  The vehicle allegedly rolled over and Diaz was ejected from the car.

Paramedics arrived as well as Palmdale Sheriff’s Department officers, who pronounced the boxer dead at the scene.

Furthermore, his girlfriend was reportedly in the vehicle during the crash and survived after extensive treatment of her multiple fractures at a local area hospital.

Her name was not released in the report, pending the notification of next-of-kin.
