A pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after a hit and run on 17th Street in Santa Ana on Thursday, January 11th, according to OnScene.TV.
The body was found by first responders at approximately 11:23 PM on the sidewalk of the 1100 block of West 17th Street, according to sources. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The deceased’s identity has yet to be released to the public. Also, there is currently no suspect description. Sources state that the vehicle description is unavailable as well.
The investigation currently being handled by the Santa Ana Police Department and is still ongoing. Further details will be released to the public as it becomes available.
