Driver of a red sedan fled on foot after jumping the curb and hitting a pedestrian in Santa Ana

Firefighter paramedics treated the approximately 60-year-old male victim of a hit and run at approximately 11:43 PM on Saturday, January 27th on South Harbor Boulevard and West McFadden Avenue in Santa Ana, according to OnScene.TV.

Santa Ana Police Department says the driver of the sedan jumped the curb and hit the pedestrian then fled the scene leaving the car behind, according to sources. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics treated the victim at the scene and then transported him to a local trauma center.

The identity of the victim is currently unknown.

The investigation into the hit and run is still ongoing. Further details will be released as it becomes available to the public.
