Authorities ID fatality victim in pedestrian-vs-car accident as Arnold Pierce

The identity of the 63-year-old pedestrian struck by a car at Chapman Avenue and Beach Boulevard was released recently, according to various news sites.

As mentioned in the previous article, the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at about 2:47 p.m. at the busy intersection in Stanton.

Two vehicles were identified in the collision as an Acura and a Nissan Murano.  They were both heading southbound on Beach Boulevard before they crashed into each other, causing the Acura to go up the curb after losing control, fatally running over the handicapped victim.
