1 person hospitalized ensuing traffic collision on the 101 Freeway at the Poplar Ave off-ramp in San Mateo
According to a California Highway Patrol, on Monday, March 26th 2018, at about 9:26 a.m. a passenger of a white Honda sedan was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on Highway 101, at the Poplar Avenue off-ramp in the city of San Mateo.
Moreover, authorities mentioned that a silver Chevy Equinox hit a Honda while traveling southbound on the 101 Freeway. The drivers were standing outside their vehicles, but the injured passenger was still sitting in the vehicle until help arrived, as stated by officials.
In addition, the injured passenger was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics, however the condition of the injured passenger is unknown. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.
