At least one person injured after crash occurs in Sonoma

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, there was a victim injured in a two-vehicle collision last Saturday evening at the intersection of Highway 37 just west of Highway 121.

As mentioned in the report, the accident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. when a white Dodge Grand Caravan collided in a crash with a black Volkswagen vehicle.  It was not immediately clear what model the Volkswagen vehicle was.

Additionally, sources said that the impact of the crash injured at least one person, who was transported via ambulance to a local hospital in regards to a complaint of pain.  The report did not make it clear how the victim was injured.

Furthermore, the Dodge minivan sustained rear-end damage as a result, and required a tow vehicle to take the vehicle away from the collision site.

Currently, the crash remains under investigation by the authorities and new updates to the narrative will be added later.
