One person dies after getting hit by a vehicle on El Camino Ave near Bell St in Sacramento

According to a California Highway Patrol report, on February 1st 2018 at 6:13 p.m. one person was hit by a Honda Civic and died on El Camino Avenue near Bell Street in the city of Sacramento.

As reported by officials, a pedestrian, who is yet to be identified, got struck by a driver of a Honda Civic when it was moving eastbound on El Camino Avenue just east of Bell Street in Sacramento.  Officials report that the driver of the Honda Civic pulled into the right hand shoulder of El Camino Avenue after hitting the unidentified pedestrian.  Additionally, the victim was declared dead at the scene by officials.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities.  Further details will be released to the public at a later time once the investigation has come to an end.
