Ambulance dispatched to transport victim to hospital

According to a recent report from the California Highway Patrol, one person suffered major injuries after being involved in a multi-vehicle car crash on the 605 Freeway.

As mentioned in the report, the accident took place at about 8:20 a.m. when the California Highway Patrol responded to a collision between a bus and three vehicles.

The crash occurred in the northbound lanes in the carpool and No.1,2,3 lanes of the freeway were subsequently closed down, sources said.

Paramedics arrived and were able to transport at least one victim to a local hospital, said Los Angeles County Fire.

The name of the victim listed was not revealed in the report, pending the notification of next-of-kin.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.

Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
