1 person killed and at least 1 injured as a result of a car accident on the intersection of Avalo Dr and Colima Rd in Hacienda Heights
As cited in a CHP report, on January 31st, at 1:40 p.m. a traffic accident on the intersection of Avalo Dr and Colima Rd in Hacienda Heights left one person dead and at least one other person injured.
According to officials, when authorities arrived on scene there was a pick-up-truck that struck a post, and it appeared as if the collision happened when a blue truck ran a red light hitting another vehicle an running into a fence.
Furthermore, one person was declared dead on scene by officials. As mentioned by CHP, the party in the white BMW SUV was injured and taken to a near by hospital though there is no word of the injured party’s condition. Information is still being developed and further detail will be released once the investigation has concluded.
