Multi-Vehicle Collision on 10 Freeway near Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs injures at least one person
According to a local news report, on Friday morning, April 20th, 2018, approximately at 10:30 am, a car collision occurred on Interstate 10 near Indian Canyon Drive in Palm Springs injuring at least one person.
As mentioned, a Volkswagen Jetta, a sedan , and a unidentified third vehicle collided for unknown reasons, stated the California Highway Patrol.
Also, one of the vehicle involved in the collision was forced off the roadway and sent down an embankment due to the impact, stated the authorities.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by medical personnel. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
