Big rig collision injures one person in Escalon

Medical crews treated one injured person after a collision involving two big rigs on State Route 120 near Main Street in Escalon at approximately 1:o5 PM on Thursday, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

According to the report, one person received a laceration to the knee and required immediate medical attention. One of the trailers involved in the crash had its front end destroyed.

The injured person was later transported to a local hospital.

The two big rig collision required tow trucks to clear the site of the accident. Sources state that multiple lanes of traffic were blocked while authorities worked to clear the accident.

The identity of the injured person is currently unreleased.
