Medical crews treated both parties involved in motorcycle collision in Sacramento

Both parties reported injuries after a motorcycle involved collision occurred on Lincoln Highway near 65th Street in Sacramento at approximately 11:02 AM on Friday, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

The motorcycle driver was downed after the collision, according to sources.  Additionally, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident also reported moderate injuries, according to the CHP.

Both injured parties were treated at the scene by medical crews according to sources. Also, both parties were later transported to a hospital, officials stated.

The identity of the persons involved in the accident is currently unreleased. It is also unknown whether the vehicles involved in the accident had other passengers at the time of the collision.

The investigation into this accident is still ongoing. Further details will be released to the public as it becomes available.
