Multi-vehicle car accident causes a domino effect
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Saturday, April 14th 2018, at about 6:12 a.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the westbound of State Route 60 and Nogales Street off-ramp in the city of Rowland Heights.
Moreover, the report stated that a solo vehicle was the initial collision that occurred right on the off-ramp of Nogales Street. Secondly, a grey Chrysler 200, white semi L/4NM8812 and Silver sedan were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision on the right shoulder of CA-60, as stated by authorities. In addition, authorities also stated that a motorcycle, semi L/4NM92227 and a sedan were the vehicles involved in the accident following the previous accident that occurred on CA-60.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Moreover, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
