Traffic collision injured at least 1 person on the transition road from the 710 Freeway to Interstate 405 in Long Beach

A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Tuesday, April 24th 2018, a traffic accident that involved several vehicles on the transition road from Interstate 710 to the 405 Freeway in the city of Long Beach injured at least one person.

Moreover, at about 6:07 p.m. the vehicles involved in the accident were merging from I-710 to I-405 when the collision occurred, according to officials.  Authorities did not give a description of the vehicles but did mention that four vehicles were involved in a collision.

Additionally, at least one person was injured, however the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim are unknown.  Officials have not released the age or name of the injured victim yet.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
