At least 1 person injured in traffic accident on the 80 Freeway east of Redwood Pkwy in Vallejo
A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Wednesday, March 28th 2018, a traffic accident that involved several vehicles on Interstate 80, just east of Redwood Parkway caused injuries to at least one person.
Moreover, at about 9:21 p.m. the four vehicles involved in the accident were traveling eastbound on I-80 when the collision occurred, according to officials. Authorities did give a full description of the vehicles but did mention that a grey sedan, a red sedan, a maroon SUV and a black sedan were the vehicles involved in the wreck.
Additionally, at least one person was injured, however the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim are unknown. Officials have not released the age or name of the injured victim yet.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
